Dr. Mehr started Sunrise Dental Center in Huntington Beach in 1999. Dr. Mehr is a member of AGD, AOS, LVI, and ICOI. He has accumulated over hundreds of hours of Continued Education in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implant dentistry and dental technology over the years to enriching his knowledge and skills in dentistry. Dr. Steven Shao DMD
Dr. Steven has been a native of Huntington Beach for over 20 years. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, and his DMD at Boston University School of Dental Medicine.
Focusing on patient education, dental technology, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Steven has previously practiced in Westminster and Newport Beach for over 6 years. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, music, automobiles, photography, baking, technology, design and event coordination.

Dr. Mai Ong DMD
Dr. Mai has been a Huntington Beach local for over 20 years. She is a second generation dentist and grew up in a dental care environment. Focusing on orthodontic treatments including ortho appliances, braces and Invisalign, Dr. Mai excels in family and pediatric dentistry. Her gentle touch and warm smile makes her a great dentist for adults and children alike.
Dr. Mai has practiced dentistry in Orange County since 2005 and actively participates in children’s community events.
